Wealth is more than just numbers

When I first began working on my money mindset, I assumed manifestation meant sitting cross-legged and saying affirmations until a cheque landed in my letterbox. Safe to say, that never happened! But what did happen was far more profound. I learned that money manifestation isn’t about being lucky or spiritual enough. It’s about creating energetic alignment, taking small rituals seriously, and showing up for yourself like you’re already the version of you who has it all.

We often think that money is hard to earn, or only comes through effort, hustle, and struggle. But what if I told you that changing your relationship with money could be as simple as lighting a candle with intention, sipping your morning tea differently, or writing your desires in a notebook you already own? Ritual doesn’t have to be complicated. It just needs to be intentional.

Whether you’re calling in a pay rise, trying to get ahead financially, or simply wanting to feel more secure, these money manifesting rituals can help shift your energy and open the door to abundance. These are five that I come back to regularly, especially when I need to recalibrate or refocus.

Morning Tea Abundance Practice

One of my simplest, yet most powerful, rituals is making my morning tea a money magnet moment. It’s not about what you drink, but how you prepare and sip it. I stir clockwise and whisper to myself, “Wealth flows to me easily. I am safe, supported, and open to receive.” It’s a calm, grounded way to start the day focused on abundance rather than stress.

While drinking, I list out 3 things I’m grateful for when it comes to money. Some days it’s small things like “I had enough petrol in the car” or “I treated myself to sushi without guilt.” Other days it’s bigger, like “I hit my savings goal.” Gratitude primes your brain to notice more opportunities and reinforces the belief that you are already abundant.

I often blend green tea, cinnamon, and a pinch of basil as my ‘money tea.’ All three are herbs associated with prosperity and abundance. It smells delicious, it tastes warm and comforting, and it feels like an intentional start to the day.

The Overflow Envelope

This is a game-changer when you feel like you never have enough. I keep an envelope in my desk drawer marked “Overflow.” Every time I get unexpected money (like a refund, discount, or gift), I put a small note in there: the date, the amount, and a quick thank you to the universe. It’s my physical reminder that money shows up in all kinds of ways.

You don’t have to put actual cash in there (though you can if it feels fun). The point is to create a space where you celebrate and record abundance. Over time, that envelope starts to feel alive with energy. Even just reading the notes inside reminds you of how supported you really are.

Don’t let it gather dust behind junk mail. Place it where you can touch it, read it, and keep it close. For me, it’s beside my candle and citrine on my desk. Whenever I’m feeling broke or anxious, I open the envelope and remember what’s already flowed to me.

The Aligned Wallet Reset

Your wallet is where your money lives. If it’s messy, full of old receipts, or has cards you no longer use, it tells your subconscious that money is cluttered and chaotic. Once a month, I clean out my wallet, wipe it down, and only keep what feels aligned. No expired coupons. No scrappy notes. Just clean, clear space.

I like to keep a folded $50 note in my wallet at all times as an ‘abundance anchor.’ I never spend it. It just reminds me that money is always there. Some people keep a small citrine or jade charm in theirs. Others print out a quote or affirmation. Whatever you choose, let your wallet feel intentional and abundant.

Every time you use your card or cash, say a quiet thank you. Thank the money for supporting you. Thank yourself for making aligned choices. This tiny moment of gratitude shifts your energy from fear of money leaving to trust in its return.

New Moon Financial Intentions

The new moon is a beautiful time to set fresh intentions. Once a month, I light a green candle, make a cup of my money tea, and write down one financial goal for the next moon cycle. It could be “I want to save $200” or “I want to find a new stream of income.” Keep it clear, doable, and rooted in belief.

On a separate piece of paper, I write down any doubts, fears, or limiting beliefs around money that I want to let go of. Then I burn the paper safely (in a sink or fireproof bowl) and imagine those thoughts leaving my energy field. It’s a small act of release that makes room for the new.

I keep my intention note in my journal or under a crystal on my desk. Every few days, I re-read it and visualise it happening. That repetition reprogrammes your subconscious and strengthens the manifestation.

Money Bowl Ritual

This is one of my favourites because it’s visual and fun. I use a small bowl, fill it with a mix of coins, herbs (like cinnamon and basil), and crystals (like pyrite or citrine). Every time I walk past it, I give it a little stir and say, “Money flows to me in unexpected and delightful ways.”

The key is to place it somewhere you’ll see often. I keep mine near the front door, so I see it every time I leave or return home. It becomes a constant energetic nudge that you live in a home of abundance.

Once a month, I refresh the herbs and wipe down the coins. You could even add in written intentions, like small paper scrolls with your money goals. This keeps the energy fresh and engaged.

Your Era in Action

I know sometimes money manifestation can feel fake, forced, or like something that only works for influencers on TikTok. But it’s not about perfection. It’s about practice. These rituals are simply tools to shift your attention, rewire your beliefs, and start acting as if you’re already in your abundance era.

Pick one or two that feel good to you. You don’t have to do all five. Just start. Light the candle. Clean out your wallet. Make your tea with intention. These tiny actions add up over time and build new neural pathways that support financial alignment.

Most of all, be kind to yourself through the process. Wealth is about more than money. It’s about feeling secure, inspired, and supported. That’s what this era is about. You’re not just manifesting cash. You’re becoming the version of you who lives life with ease, grace, and a deep trust in your ability to receive. That version of you already exists. These rituals just help you find her again.
